Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-05-01

These terms govern access to and use of the NxtLevel platform operated by Virtual Accounting (Pty) Ltd. By signing in you accept these terms.

1. Authorised users

Access is by invitation from the director only. Sharing credentials is prohibited. Each staff member is required to enable two-factor authentication or sign in via Xero (SSO). Inactive accounts are deactivated; deactivated users cannot sign in.

2. Acceptable use

3. Xero integrations

Connecting a Xero organisation grants NxtLevel access to that organisation's data per the OAuth scopes shown on the consent screen. Disconnecting is possible at any time from /settings/xero or /settings/xpm, or directly in Xero under Connected apps.

4. Confidentiality

Client information accessed through the platform is confidential and subject to the professional duties of accountants. Unauthorised disclosure is prohibited.

5. Data accuracy

Data accuracy is the responsibility of the staff member entering it. The platform performs validation but does not guarantee accuracy of derived figures. Always verify figures against source data before external use.

6. Availability

The platform is hosted on Vercel and Neon. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available but do not warrant uninterrupted operation. Brief downtimes may occur for maintenance.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virtual Accounting (Pty) Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Termination

Access ends automatically when employment with Virtual Accounting (Pty) Ltd ends or when the director deactivates the account.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced to platform users via email.
